"very good value, but with quirks"
Pros: feature packed for the money. fairly compact for a 10x zoom cam. more bang/buck than current competition (canon powershot S1). robust manual override controls.
Cons: camedia software doesn't allow editing (deleting) of images from pc (unlike canon). ergonomics and design slightly "generic" and cheap feeling (i.e. cheesy usb door, lens housing rattles). no image stabilization (useful on long zoom shots). default sett
