"Nothing Compares in 35mm"
Pros: Huge image quality
Cons: weight, cost!!!!
Summary: Having used Canons for some years, including the 1DIII (with no focus issues) I didn't even bother opening the manual, which is unusual for me - I usually read them slowly end to end for each new camera as the added value is often hidden in the details!
Easy to use, but still heavy compared to a 5D, the added microadjustment and live view are two definate value additions (same as 1DIII).
No issues working with Windows machine - not sure what the other review was on about, maybe he needs to read the manual.
Earlier cameras (1DIIn) had both firewire and USB, which was confusing as some features would only work with the firewire connection. This one, along with the 1DIII has only USB, but has an new option of a wireless connection which mounts on the left hand side.
Overall, you need to go to MF to get any chance of better detail (and I don't mean Mamiya ZD) and that's lots more $$$$
When Sony (Nikon?) get up to speed with their 24mp sensor Canon might get a run for their money, but until then ...
