Pros: The tilt-n-swivel screen is definitely a winner. Ease of use. Focusing speed is awesome.
Cons: Not good weather-sealing.
Summary: Excellent DSLR. Power-packed features. Long battery life. I am amazed at the picture quality, even at high ISO and in low-light conditions. As good as a pro camera! Love it.

Pros: Excellent photo quality, decent video, good performance overall, great lowlight response. Even if you are new to SLR cameras, you will find this quite easily manageable.
Cons: Live view focusing is slow, but you can set it to use one shot mode in live view, and that will improve the time it take to focus at the expense of momentarily blinking the screen. Weather sealing could be improved. get a good camera bag.
Summary: When my daughter broke my old faithful fujifilm E550, I bought the fujifilm SH10, and it sucked. Then I returned it and decided to go with DSLR camera and I bought this Canon 60D \w 18-135mm IS kit.
The EF-s 18-135mm IS kit lens is great. It has a 67mm thread, meaning that its front element is larger than other lenses with 58mm thread. The focal lens is very appropriate for everyday shooting, and you will very hardly switch to another lens.
Canon 60D pairs very well with the kit lens. When I shot pictures, the camera actually spoke to me with its little creaks, clicks & clacks. Auto focus was precise and fast (even though the kit lens is not a USM). Image stabilization worked great, and the flash had a good range. I did not find any noticeable noise even on ISO 1600 or 3200, unless you pixel peeping. The camera is fast. You can just keep clicking and you get full resolution pictures with out delay! The 5-6 burst rate is more than enough for most like me who run after the kids and wife, and perhaps someone on the street.

Pros: articulated screen is a winner. it. sensor is sharp and clean..another advantage uncompromised images nearly equivalent to my 5d mark II with the 1.6 factor making all my lenses longer which is a great advantage at times.... .
Cons: small controls and the multi purpose thingee on the back. I want what is found on the other D series cameras as a standard set up..
Summary: It works well albeit slow when shooting rapidly, I am forced to sit there and wait for it to write even on the fastest cards I can find. It has only one processing circuit and the 7D doubles that..If the 7D had the articulated screen I would have gotten that instead but hey, this is a very inexpensive decent camera body. I did not buy the cheapo lens and I suggest an L lens is not out of place on this high res body either.

Articulating screen is bright and vividCons: That DAM lock on mode dial (hate it)
No dedicated video button (boo, it takes forever to switch to mode via the dial!)
Auto WB is still Canons weakness (orangy under certain lights)Summary: Can't miss camera for taking pictures. Semi Pro indeed. Its solid and attractive, lots of curb appeal. Compared to a puny Rebel... SIZE does matter! So get and start shooting til your hearts content!

Pros: The interface may take a bit of getting used to, however, it is logical and efficient in its controls. I have the 18-200mm IS lens and I have to say that I am truly amazed w. the results. A hand-held shot of the moon, clear enough to see the craters!
Cons: Haven't got any complaints. Too early yet?
Summary: Flash photography with off-camera flash (Canon Speedlite 430EXII) is a new field for me with exciting possibilities.
You do get what you pay for... and then some!
