"Good Camera, bad for people who want pro quality due to lens"
Pros: This is a very cheap, affordable (pending where you buy it) digital camera. It has lots of features that allow it to be a Pro camera or a standard consumer camera. If you stay with the automatic feature it is easy to use and you will have great pics with
Cons: The lens that is bought with it makes it a consumer camera, but if you buy your own SLR lens with more control with your focus then it becomes a professional camera.

Pros: Canon's digital processor (DIGIC) is a major plus. The best part is those Canon EF lenses gathering dust with your film camera gear now can be put to work, saving you a ton of $$$ buying additional lenses for the Digital Rebel. A third-party firmware upgr
Cons: The plastic body is NOT a negative thing unless you are a snob that says: "Gee, the Digital Rebel doesn't have that special HEFT & FEEL of an expensive camera." Besides, it weighs less than a metal body.

Cons: The flash isn't that good, but I don't expect it to be. Maybe Canon should have built it without the int(f)ernal flash. I didn't purchase this camera with the intention of using a built-in flash. The only real problem with this camera is the dark viewfind
