"great first DSLR"
Pros: easy to use, nice picture quality, user friendly settings to break you out of the point and shot world into the SLR world with still some full manual controls
Cons: not a great kit lens which is why the body only is good
Summary: buy the body only a nice lens or two and it will do you right
