"very lauzy job at canon rebel xt much more better camera"
Pros: big screen
Cons: the dirt off system make the pictures look more fogi
Summary: I think canon lost some prespctive with this camera rebel type camera can not be a pro camera .
all this fitures only make the camera more problemtic .
i will say to canon lower the price on the rebel xt and do not try to sell same camera with better fitures

As an owner of both the Rebel XT and XTi, I find your comments ridiculous. The XTi is a very worthy upgrade to the XT. The pictures are amazingly clear, I see no noise problems so far, the larger LCD screen in wonderful, and I no longer worry so much about changing lenses. I am very happy with my XTi!

There should be an idiot button on cnet. If enough people click the button about a certain review, then it gets deleted and the negative rating doesn't hurt the product.
All a review like this does is hurt the credibility of all ratings. Good job, I'll definitely consider your opinion. -
Idiot. How can you rate something without even having or owning it. I know canon and I will buy one as soon as it hits the market. I have the 30D and I need a second camera and that will be the XTi.
And yes...please learn how to spell.

Okay, first learn to spell. Secondly, maybe you should actually have played around with this camera and then put up CONCRETE evidence that this camera is worse than the Rebel XT, which I highly doubt is the case.

But you shouldn't rate low it just because you would rather have seen the old Rebel XT at a much lower price. I agree on that. The XT is a fine camera. Canon, How about offering the 8mp XT for $499, body only?

You dont know it, haven't seen it, nor have you read a review of it. Also, were you trying to spell "lazy" or "lousy"? If the XT were any cheaper then it would be the price of the s3is. If you want a great DSLR then you have to pay the money...if not then get a point and shoot. Love it or leave it, but dont bash it before it's even released.
