"An excellent camera at a low price that is a joy to use."
Pros: Auto cleaning sensor, size, weight, 10MP, handling, large rear screen can be read w/o glasses, one handed operation, excellent flash performance, RC-1 remote for landscape/macro, battery life
Cons: Mirror lock could be easier to access, weather proofing could be better (although unlikely at this price), not much I can think of
Summary: I own both the XT and the new XTi (as well as a 20D and a 1D Mk.IIN) and love this little gem of a camera. I cannot believe it scores lower than the XT, certainly not even close in my opinion. The compact size of the camera makes it a uniquely good hiking/backpacking camera and is so small and light, I often take with me on jobs when I'm using the much larger and heavier pro level Canons. The Canon sensor gives it excellent performance at low light levels that Nikons can't match. I prefer the XTi to the 20D by a wide margin as well. My hands are not huge, but are not small either and it fits very comfortably in my hand with excellent handling.
