"A great simple camera for a first timer"
Pros: Ease of use; reasonably small size; decent image quality
Cons: Bit boxy; 3.1megapixels is quite a way below today's standard
Summary: This is a great, inexpensive camera for:
- a first time user of digital cameras
- a technologically challenged person (mum, dad, grandparent, etc) who doesn't want something with lots of complex features - just a point-and-shoot camera
- someone who would rather print out regular size photos than have huge pictures stored on their computer (in this case the 3.1mp is fine)
As a digital replacement for a standard camera this is excellent. It's easy to use and most of the features can be automated. For those in its target market it's perfect.
