"Even better with CHDK firmware." on by aprgeronimo
Pros: Fast shooting, some manual controls, overall good quality pictures.
Cons: To much noise, big sized, high battery consumption..
Summary: I've bought one of these cameras influenced by the Cnet's reviews and could't be happier with my $150,00 (with 2GB SD card and rechargeable Sony batteries) spent...But recently i've discovered the CHDK firmware and now I can truly say that I've made an excellent deal choosing Canon.. With this "upgrade" I can now make time lapse movies, bracketing (EV, Focus, ISO) and much more....

Summary: I bought this so I can practise taking heaps of photos of my family and friends.

"Excellent Durable Camera, produces great photos" on by scionr
Pros: Simple interface, Great quality Pics, AA Batteries, Easy to grip when taking a photo, has a few options for Manual photo shooting.
Cons: Eats Batteries (use rechargeable) , No propitiatory zoom button, Fat Design (it's good side is the grip),
Summary: I love this Cam and it's design, it didn't cost much and is serving me for the last 3-4 Years.
