Pros It does take fast shots as advertised, is light weight and solid.
Cons Some features seem come up just short of being great; almost to the point where it seems like it'd be nicer if they weren't there. In my opinion the camera is trying to do too much. I prefer my post processing on a PC.
Summary We got this camera to take pictures of our fast moving son, and as long as he's not jumping it does a good job. We've been able to take the camera everywhere and have been really happy with the pictures it's taking.
There are two ways where I wish it made for a better overall experience. The software that came with the camera wanted me to plug the camera into the computer, so I did. When I turned on the camera for the first time it asked to set the Date/Time. Why didn't it get that info from the computer?! There are camera's that do.
The other is that the camera has a facial recognition feature where you can program faces into the camera. But to do this you need to take pictures specifically for this purpose, and no one is going to sit down for this. Given that it uses the same meta data as Windows Live Photo Gallery, it should have scanned my Pictures library for the top common faces in the pictures. Again, if the camera worked with the computer it would have made for a better overall experience.
We're happy with this camera, it's doing a good job of taking pictures of wiggly young children.
