"WARNING!! Avoid Canon Products" on
Pros: Worked as advertised for 18 months...
Cons: ... out of nowhere the dreaded "E18" error. Camera's toast. Cheaper to accept Canon's offer of a refurbised upgrade to S410 than to fix. A $400+ camera that's well cared for should last longer than 18 months, I think.

Did it not record pictures on ur card, and not switch between modes???<br>thats EXACTLY what happened, and i swear to god im having the EXACT same probelm!!!!!!!!!!!! with my canon powershot sd10<br>after 18 monts!!!!<br><br>OMG thats scary we have the exact same problem...yet i trust canon enough to get the sd700 IS along wiht a 5 year extended warranty!!!!!!!
