Pros: Pocket size, great button/switch locations, intuitive operation, much faster then what I'am used to.
Cons: Currently have Nikon Coolpix 775 (2mp & 4yrs old). Took same pictures using both cameras on automatic settings. From a resulting picture point-of-view, the Canon s500 is extremely disappointing. By comparison, the Nikon is more crisp, handles motion m

Pros: great quality pictures in a compact camera, nice design, good features and such
Cons: no battery indicator, just when it is going to die in about a second. canon has yet to improve that feature. also a little slow while reviewing pictures, but i do take the best quality pictures possible

"Takes too many blurry pictures"
Pros: Good size. White balance Good
Cons: Too easy to take a blurry picture. Never had this problem with my Sony DSC-85
