"Great little camera with high resolusion"
Pros: I'm thumbs with a digital cam and this Canon and its menu are easy to follow. Its a nice point and shoot; especially if you're chasing pets and kids for great candids. The 8 megapixels so evident in these shots, clean & clear. Cannot speak on vid.
Cons: I have some difficulty understanding the instructions on using the menus; that could just be me. I've been told the large screen will scratch "no matter what", but I think that product by Zagg called Inviible Shield will protect it perfectly!

"PRETTY, AND GETS THE JOB DONE!"
Pros: Image quality, color/design, speed, battery life, simple, good for first timers.
Cons: LCD is a bit grainy (JUST THE LCD, NOT THE PHOTOS!!!), especially when you zoom, but then again it is my first digital camera, so it just might be typical.

Pros: Sony DSC-W80 which takes excellent pictures but has too many settings for my wife. The Canon SD100 fits the bill perfectly for true "point and shoot" aficionado's. Small and comes in other colors besides silver and black.
Cons: No manual controls...just setting changes through a menu for different automatic settings

"Great small camera with great quality shots."
Pros: Small and light weight. Nice sized display. Good for moving subjects like pets and people that don't like to have their pictures taken. Not to mention it's a great shade of PINK! Still finding new features every day.
Cons: Not great if light is to low; has trouble focusing.
