The Bottom Line	Putting excellent performance in an ultracompact package, the SD300 should please photographers who don't want manual controls or plentiful scene modes.	Simple and stylish, the Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS is a fine back-pocket camera as long as your photo-quality expectations are reasonable.	The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290 is an excellent, well-balanced compact camera.	As long as you're not expecting dSLR speed in a tiny body, the Canon PowerShot S90 is an excellent compact camera for advanced amateurs.	Canon's SX120 IS pocket megazoom falls behind the competition in every aspect except photo quality.
