"A must have for a point and shoot." on by t0xiceyes

Pros: Love everything about it. The picture quality is great as well as the hd video and full 3.5 touch screen. The features are great and really easy to use and the battery life is pretty good. The HDMI is also great for hd playback on your tv.

Cons: The only con I have is the touch screen. It will take little getting used to but it does come with a small stylus attached to the lanyard which works great.

Summary: All in all, Canon has always made great cameras. The photos are sharp, clear, and colorful. The 720p hd video is great and its compact. Like I said before, the touch screen will take a little getting used to if your used to pushing buttons. Other then that, its a must have for a point and shoot.

"Great compact camera for the price!" on by mmathur98

Pros: Excellent picture quality, good low light pictures, loads of great features.

Cons: The touch screen could be better, but it is good for what it is.

Summary: Although it has its problems with the touch screen, the great value, superb picture quality, and ample amount of features makes this one of the best compact, non-DSLR cameras, I have ever owned.

"i really loved it!" on by nicole-c-silver

Pros: it took beautiful pictures especially the macro
    lots of different settings
    the auto was pretty awesome
    nice colour balance
    excellent picture quality
a really great point and shoot

Cons: high price made me very worrisome
it was stolen about 3 different times = 3 new cameras. :(
the colour balance was sometimes off, up close face shots created a higher contrast = orange colour & lower definition
    touch got frustrating sometimes

Summary: i miss my camrea very much
it was definetly one of my favourites and it took such sick photos
i loved it very much and took great care of it
the battery wasnt so bad it ran out but so does every battery
i am a huge canon fan!!!!

"A complete disapointment" on by M-Striker

Pros: Cannot not think of any

Cons: Terrible picture quality. 4 out 5 photos are out of focus, incorrect WB for indoor shooting, a very long delay for the flash to recharge. And this is almost in every shooting mode: A, P, Portate, indoors, etc.

Summary: I have been a big fan of Canon cameras. Owned 2 SLRs, and 6 point and shoot ones in the last 9 years. SD3500 was by far the worst ever purchase made by me. I am saddened to observe a downward quality trend of Canon products. Every camera I bought had worse quality than the one before. Right now it downright terrible. One more purchase like this and I will switch to other brends. Shame on you Canon. Shame!!!

"Great for Real Estate" on by TJbildz

Pros: I needed an affordable camera with a wide angle option for taking pictures of listings. So far it's been a great camera!

Cons: None to report as of yet

Summary: Great option for Realtors looking for a wide angle lens without spending big bucks.
