Cons: picture quality sometimes
Summary: The camera is good, but I find that pictures outside tend to come out grainy. Changing the iso helps, but my Olympus 750 has a much better resolution. Apprently not everyone has this problem so if the price is right buy it and judge for yourself, but I can not recommend it unless you are getting it for a great price and are happy with the picture quality.

Summary: I bought this camera essentially as an upgrade from my Canon Powershot G2 4MP. I used dcresource.com vs. cnet when it came to a buying decision. The pictures are great, the easy to use themese are great, the LCD is very large and easy to see and the photo's transfer quickly using a SD hi-speed card. The only complaint that I have is that it does not appear to have a image stabilizer. The movie mode is very good and the microphone is excellent and picks up distant sounds very well. I bought a waterproof casing but won't use it until late June. Overall, this is an excellent point and shoot camera that takes great pictures.
