"Slim-nice screen-easy to use"
Pros: Light, nice large screen-good photos and movies
Cons: Cannot Power camera through wall plug
Summary: My overall opinion of the camera is it is easy to use. Has a little difficulty in bright lights and dark. The camera is easy to use and I enjoy the slender feel of the camera. Based on previous reviews I'm taking very close attention not to bang or drop this or do anything to hit the lens. Picture quality is very nice. I paid $150.00 for this and for the price it's very nice . One quality I dislike in all Cannon cameras and have no idea why this is so is there is no means to charge the camera using an external power supply like a wall socket or car lighter. That means each time you battery runs down, you need recharge the battery and also put a lot more wear and tear on the camera door and pins the batteries use in the camera.
There is camera that photographs better in the dark/brightness with the same size screen, and can recharge using a wall socket/Car lighter. But that costs about $80.00. If I had that money or discovered it prior to my purchase, I may have bought that because I'm a little lazy. But I'm enjoying this one very much. For the price, I don't believe I could have purchased a better camera. This works great on my Mac-both photos and small movies. If Cannon had a charging system from the wall outlet, I would give it a 9.5. If it worked better in bright / dark light, It would go to a 10. Would like to see a manual mode for the lens where I don't have to rely on the motor if something ever goes wrong with it.

Thanks for review. What is the camera with recharge capability and better quality in dark/brightness?
Thanks!
