Pros: Very easy to use, great quality video for price, excellent quality in photos. Lots of shooting features. Face detection and face timer works great too!

Cons: Can't zoom when shooting video (even the dSLR's can't do that though). Chrome finish may get scratched.

Summary: I have had my camera for about 2 months and I have loved the ability to take in anywhere in my shirt pocket. I would not put it in a pocket with anything else though, like keys or a cell phone, because the finish looks like it could easliy get scratched up. I recommend getting a screen protector for the LCD before you even open up the box (as with any LCD screened device). I wanted a camera that takes good video and the 30fps HD video is great. Just make sure your computer is powerful enough to edit in HD, otherwise keep the video as is when you burn it to DVD. The face detection timer worked great - seconds after you walk into the frame, the camera takes 3 pictures - VERY useful for family photos. The instructions suggest a CLASS 4 SDHC card for video. I usually just use the basic mode but they have tons of different shooting modes available. The software is your usual and is not as good as GIMP or photoshop, and the video editing is VERY basic. I'm still looking for a good open source video editing program. Video output is .MOV format and is obviously not the best for a Micro$oft PC. Software converts it to H264 format.
