Canon PowerShot SD940 IS (Back)

Pros: Small form factor. This camera is perfect for slipping into the front pocket of your jeans without even noticing it is there. Sturdy, non-slippery feel.
Great HD video & photos.
Canon has great AUTO functions to take the guesswork out of photography!

Cons: No optical zoom in video mode- which means you CAN use digital zoom. Just adjust the optical zoom before you begin filming. Digital zoom still works though.

Summary: Best compact point and shoot camera on the market today. I have researched these cameras for over a month and have personally held and or purchased/used many out there. This is the best camera in this class of cameras. If you want DSLR quality photos, then be willing to pay for it and also lug that thing around. I have before and it isn't that much fun. I take many more great shots with this camera because it is readily available and takes awesome photos.
Having this camera says you know what you want in a camera-- the most advanced electronics in the smallest form factor.
