"May be the TOP of the line"
Pros: Image quality, build, features, made by Canon
Cons: not sure I found them yet
Summary: Just got mine from Circuit City.
I think it's a great P&S with incredible IQ. I undertsand it has the same sensor as the G9.
Here are some test shots right out of the camera. No post processing, etc.

Thanks for the photos they were great. What cameras have you owned before this one? Which flash card did you buy? And what delay did you notice relative to other SD cameras (if you ever owned one)?
The editors neglect to mention which flash card they used, so the readers have no idea if the magapixel slowdown can be resolved by using newer faster flash.

I believe that reviews wit pictures are much better. Myself I reviewed the sd870 with a lot of pictures and will be adding more later on this week.
