Canon PowerShot SD990 IS (Black)

Pros: Superb build quality, excellent resolution, very good image quality, manual controls (at last!), Digic 4 processor works really good, Quick Shot mode is useful to get the action.

Cons: Noise at high ISO settings (although better than previous Canon ultra-compacts), slightly bulky (but still fits in a shirt pocket), manual mode is limited, price may be a little high for some, 36mm wide angle (I prefer 28mm)

Summary: This is one great camera, probably the best ultra compact available. At last there are some manual controls. the image quality is impressive for a compact camera. Price may be a tad high, but this is the Digital Elph line-up flagship.
