"Very solid, Super fast very quiet zoom, IS and focusing" on by suckedsmarty
Pros: Very fast zoom that is the quietest at zooming (slowly) and quietest at focusing (Fuiji FHS10 was awful) that I've come across so far. Sound recorded - turn downable too. Fun snap scene mode that pics out colour of your choice and makes the rest BW.
Cons: Snapping pictures in video, pauses the video. I like this though - pause will be at an interesting bit!
VF quite low definition, make sure the dioptre is adjusted for your eyes correctly.
Pictures might lack colour but preset options to enhance.Summary: The ring around the 4 way (usual) control on the back is "to get used to" and can control fine focus, white balance etc etc. If your thunbs are as worn out and as insensitive as mine then this is a bit dificult to get to grips with to start.
However I'm really struggling to find anything I don't like about this camera. My gripes are actually things that maybe could be done better and it really feels like I'm nit picking... because I love the camera. The cons are really just the character of the camera. If I was going to payed over 500 quid then I would have had to examine all entry level SLRs but I don't get why anyone would want to keep changing lenses?

Hi,
I just bought a used Canon SX1 IS, but what I didn't realize is that the Wireless Controller WC-DC300 was not included with the camera purchase. Do you know where I could buy one of these? I tried Ebay and Amazon, but no luck.
Thank you,
Arnie
