"I can't find one thing wrong with it!" on by OregonNative
Pros: Great Anti-shake; Easy to use Features; Fast; Photo Quality
Cons: Easy to use up SD card using 6 megapixels
Summary: I waited over a week for my Ex-Z110, and it was worth every minute! What a technological wonder this camera is! I have had a Canon Powershot S30 for about 3 years, and it took good photos, if the lighting was good. The indoor pictures were rather sad. The Casio however takes incredibly good indoor pictures, with the Anti-Shake on you absolutely stop movement. Every photo of my dogs chewing their bones was perfect! Low-light overcast winter ocean photos also good, with the Anti-shake on I might add. Color is great. I read some reviews that were rather negative about this camera, and I can't figure out for the life of me why. I couldn't ask for a better point and shoot. It's also very small. There are thinner cameras, but there's got to be a point where a camera can actually become too small. This one is a perfect size for my medium size hands, and slips right into my shirt pocket. Zoom indoor photos are great. I did have to reduce megapixels to 4 so that I didn't immediately use up my 128mb SD card, and photos are still perfectly sharp. I did not have to read directions to start using features. I did read directions to figure out how to insert batteries and card. I'm using Energizer e2 rechargeable AA batteries and an Energizer fast charger, which are working wonderfully. As I said, I cannot find one thing wrong with the Casio Exilim EX-Z110 digital camera. In fact, it is a dramatic improvement over my "old" Canon Powershot, and also satisfies my appreciation of nifty technology!

"very happy with my z110" on by crpsy
Pros: lots of features, good images, decent manual control
Cons: low internal memory(~8.5Mb)
Summary: I bought my z110 at fnac in france(who has rated this camera very highly). i was initially a bit suspicious about the cost thinking it might involve compromising image quality, but so far, it has been otherwise.. The included aa batteries gave about 90 shots with mixed usage(flash, zoom, etc). Reasonably compact without being slippery-ly thin. good display and has a viewfinder too. has got realtime histogram and a lots of other features.... in fact, i am waiting for the catch..and so far there seems to be none(perhaps noise at iso200, etc, but doesn't bother me..for one thing, i don't have comparisons with other cameras, and then, you can always force iso to 100 even for night shots and extending the exposure time(upto 60s possible)). cnet review seems a bit unfair(especially, given that it is the only one floating around in the internet as of now).. the general user reviews are positive(e.g,. in dpreview.com). The only other "user" review on this site is from someone who doesn't own one.

"Good choice" on by chkazak
Pros: Perfect case, good price, long battery life
Cons: Bad user manuel
Summary: I went to shop to buy Sony S600 but I didn't like its case and buttons. I decided to buy Casio z110. I used one week. It is very easy to use basic function but manuel setting is diffucult or user manuel not god but there is a easy mode for child or mother. My 5 y.o boy can use and transfer photo to PC. Battery life is perfect. I take 50 photo and 10 min video with 2100 Ah NiMh battery.Battery indicator still shown half.

"Anti-shake and 28 shooting modes makes its price value-for-money." on by rezzac
Pros: "Best Shot" mode DEFINITELY helps an amateur take better pics
Cons: Image quality needs improvement, esp. in low light conditions.
Summary: Bought mine 2 days ago. Was choosing between EX-Z110 vs. Canon A610. The dealers in Singapore (Sim Lim) were insisting Casio as a better "value-for-money" unit. The anti-shake feature made me choose Casio. But upon usage, I was disappointed with the image quality in low-light (dusk onwards) settings since noise levels were a bit high. Took indoor shots (flourescent) and noise was still there.
It didn't come with an SD card, and built-in memory is not enough if you use 6MP format. Use a min. 512MB, 1GB better.
I liked the video and audio clarity, unlimited record time (memory card dependent), and 9-frame stills lifted from the video. 2 AA alkaline batteries lasted me 2 days, considering I kept fiddling with the features trying to figure how it works.
The manual that comes with it doesn't give sufficient tips and instructions how to fully utilize the cam's features; it assumes you already know how to work a digicam.
In case you lose the proprietary cable to hook it up to your PC/laptop for downloading, just use a card reader. Works just the same!
