"Good Starter" on by mghotbi
Pros: Sleek, easy to use, great LCD display.
Cons: Poor image quality for 6MP camera.
Summary: Bought this for my daughter for about $250 including 256MB SD card. Very lightweight and portable. Extremely easy to use. Stylish design (important to image-conscious teens like her).
Photos appear washed out and hazy. Optics are clearly not great and although camera is 6 megapixels, images appear to be from much lower resolution sources.
Overall good choice for starter camera. If image quality is important to you, look elsewhere. -
"Poor Picture Quality within the black beautiful exterior" on by vytapod
Pros: Sleek, compact and a lot of nifty features
Cons: 6 MP is not what its cracked up to be
Summary: I have had 3 megapixel camera take nicer pictures than this camera. Even with enough light and flash, there is considerable graininess so I doubt it will take good low light pictures. Nice design though, lovely big 2.5 lcd and a lot of cool features like a calendar that shows which day you took the picture and a antishake setting as well (havent tried that yet though). If you are looking for high quality pictures, I recommend sony or canon. This is a good on the go, point and shoot, no fuss and easy to use for those who are not so technology savvy.

"Good for average user" on by vypros
Pros: Light, small, attractive
Cons: Grainy LCD, occasional color distortion,
Summary: Overall, good camera. Images either come out really sharp or just lousy.
Make sure you get a case for this camera.
If you're an everyday photographer, I'd go with a Canon, but if you are only going to be using a camera once in a while, I'd go with this Casio EX-Z60. -
"great little camera for fun picture taking" on by christinelovestotalk3
Pros: size, screen, look, quick shutter response
Cons: some pictures are left with more to be desired
Summary: I bought this camera as a present for myself this past Christmas and I really love it. With my 1GB memory card, I can take what seems to be a million pictures effortlessly. The look is great but that's not to say there aren't a few cons. Some shots come out not as sharp as I'd like from this type of camera. Also, sometimes when putting the memory card back in it does not recognize it. That has only happened 3 times but I figure I might as well give out a fair warning!
