"Great camera, nice style, good price" on by bballjohn32
Pros: Large LCD, decend picture quality for a point and shoot camera, and a lot cool features, very small and nice looking design, easy to navigave through menus, good battery life.
Cons: LCD hard to see in bright light outdoors, a lot of noise when using the soft flash, no view finder, hard to get the battery out for charging.
Summary: I must say that I really like this camera. I bought one from Wal-Mart and it had problems reading the SD card. I exchanged both the card and camera and I haven't had a problem since. I'm not sure if it was the card or camera.
The design is really nice looking in silver. Small enough to fit in your picket. LCD looks good and is nice for viewing pictures. However during the day in bright light it can be somewhat of a problem to take pictures using the screen. Not a huge deal, but it could be for some. You might miss the view finder as this one does not have one.
I thought that the picture quality was awesome, but I imagine some of that is due to the fact that my old camera was a 1.3 megapixel thats about 5 years old haha. Overall I would the quality is good, it works well for me except when using the "Soft flash" feature, which I see considerably more noise.
Battery life is pretty good, it seems to hold a charge for quite a long time. I havent actually timed it to see how long it lasts since I just bought it but it appears to be sufficient enough for almost anyone. I only have one small problem, and that is that it can be a bit of a pain to pull out the battery when it needs charged (it can be hard to pull out of that small space sometimes). Remember there are two models of the EX-Z60, one that has a cradle that it sits in to charge and load photos, and another that comes with a charger in which you pull out the battery and put it in there. Really not a huge deal, it might be a problem for people with large hands/fingers.
Overall I am really impressed with this camera by Casio, it's really popular with everyone and the price really isn't too bad for what you get. I think this is just as good or atleast comparable to the pricier Sony CyberShot.
