"Only Lasted A Year"
Pros: Leica lens. Compact. Takes AA batteries. Ease-of-use.
Cons: This camera was a star for the first 6 months, before the first power out occurred. Of a sudden, it would not turn on. After a day without batteries, the camera was okay. This was very inconvenient, since the problem occurred during vacation, leaving m

This camera lasted 1 Year. I cant believe I found reviews on this site with the exact same thoughts I have about this camera. I should have known better, Panasonic is a low end cheap electronic accross the board. Customer Service is a waste of a call/time. Bottom Line... Stay away from Panasonic Products.

I bought the Panasonic DMC-LC33 digital camera for about a year. Used twice (this year vacation and last year vacation). Turn power on, nothing happen. Changed to new set of batteries and turned power on. Same thing - nothing happened. Told by Panasonic repair service it will cost $161. Camera cost $289. Simply bad quality.
