"One of the best sony ever produced"
Pros: Durable, very good pictures, very seldom red eye , accurate and fast lcd
Cons: poor battery life, small lcd, slow shoot to shoot interval, choppy video
Summary: Got this cam for 3 yrs. now and i'm glad that i did. It is handsome, solidly built ( no mechanical problems up to now, had taken nearly 6 thousand pics as of the moment and still the buttons are crisp, no loosening whatsoever. Already replaced the rechargeable li-ion battery which is quite expensive, also dropped this cam several times accidentally, still it went on and on). The lcd showed no signs of dimming nor dead pixels. The pictures are great and they still are. Redeye are almost non existent even without redeye reduction. Transfer from cam to computer via usb is fast. You can also charge the battery directly and don't have to remove it from the cam. Also you can use it while charging the battery( unlike my new sony DSC T30 ) Now for some downside, 1. miniscule lcd - you have to zoom the pics you have taken on review to be sure you were able to get sharp pics. 2. short battery life - most you can get is 100 min., however, it does have power saver which turns off the cam automatically and there's a setting where you can turn off the lcd and use the viewfinder. 3. choppy video - expected as this takes footage at 15fps. Other than these, this is however, an EXCELLENT CAM!!
