"Very good pics, very good manual adjustments, Very easy to use but very slow."
Pros: Impressive picture quality, only a few seconds to understand it, very easy transfer, management and printing of pictures, responsive manual settings.
Cons: Very slow. Most of the time the moment you want to capture has passed before you are ready, cheap construction materials especially the battery cover.
Summary: I went through the reviews and all the while was looking at Canon and Nikon. I wanted a good one. I never had a look at Kodak thinking that they make only cheap entry level cameras. Went to the shop after deciding on two cameras both Canon. As luck would have it both were out of stock. I was contemplating coming back again when the salesgirl suggested me to have a look at Kodak. With a sneer I agreed just to pass time. It was too big and too slow. Then she showed me some pics taken with the camera. Thats when I started to take her seriously and in the end I decided to go for picture quality compromising on style, speed and brand. But now I am very very happy. I have taken numerous pictures bith indoors and outdoors and I am very happy. The indoor shots were not good earlier but after learning to tonker with the manual settings I can get very good pictures. The transfer and printing of pictures is a few steps jobs. Software is very user friendly. I can't think of anything easier. The battery cover broke during the first week itself as expected. Now I am more careful. The camera is smooth all over and can slip very easily from the hands. I have stuck some rubbery stickers and it hasn't slipped hence.
