"It stopped working-twice"
Pros: Nice when it worked
Cons: It stopped working-twice
Summary: I bought this camera about 3 years ago and after about 10 months the LCD screen went white. I had it fixed under warranty and it worked for a while (200 pics or so)until a few months ago it just died. Would not power up. I troubleshot it with different batteries and with no batteries on the dock and no power. Called Kodak and they told me it would be $135 for the repair. I was very unhappy to hear that as with light use this camera broke down twice and that is just not right for a $300+(at the time) device. I would have thought they'd want to at least see it (as it's condition woyuld show no signs of dropping or abuse) but no. They offered to let me trade it in and get a 6MP Z760 camera for $199 which I thought was an ok deal UNTIL they told me it was a REFURBISHED one. Needless to say after already having a once fixed Kodak camera break down on me there was no way I'm going to invest more in one. The fact that they have a program to dump refurbished lemons on already disatisfied customers speaks volumes to me about their attitude and the quality of the camera to begin with. I expressed my deep disatisfaction and today I purchased a Canon A610 camera instead of a Kodak. I think I'm done with them.
