"Do Not Buy!!!"
Pros: Lots of features, ergonomic design
Cons: Lousy image quality.
Summary: Very disappointing results from the Fuji Finepix s7000. I've had it for several months. It was easy to use out of the box, but the images are nearly always fuzzy. different areas in the same depth of field are blurry. figure that one out. and manual focus is impossible. Calls to tech support are futile. I should have bought the Digital Rebel (Canon). This purchase was a HUGE mistake.

Images are great , Movies are exellent,
just one bad thing I have about this camera is that the top of the battery compartment corroded and the terminals broke off and the company did not have a spare?
So after the huge expenses of this camera due to a very small and important failure no power the camera is now unuseable.
Shame about the after sales service otherwise this would have been a great camera. -
I have used this camera for just over 1 year. I have seen a littl fuzziness - mostly when I moved during the shutter cycling.
I have found the low light response excellent, the movie mode excellent, the external flash mode wonderful, and the overall resolution and color response outstanding for the price.

I had been using S7000 for a year now, and I took alot of good photos, most ppl would reckon it's the best DC for the price under $500.
Other camera in the same legion of S7K such as sony F717/828, Nikon 5700/8700, Minota A1 and olympus 5060/7070 has about 5%-50% more buying cost than S7000.
