"Slow Shutter!" on
Pros: Decent looking pictures!
Cons: Oh god, the shutter's way to slow. Don't shoot anything moving: sports, animals, children. Forget it.

"Poor quality" on by eltracy2002
Pros: Good zoom and a good camera, when it worked.
Cons: Poor design/ workmanship.
Summary: After approximately 2 years of light use, a screw came loose inside the camera, which rendered it unusable. This is a known problem with this model.

"Good Camera" on by PolarBearTx
Pros: Great outdoor shots!
Cons: Low light and high speed shots can be blurry
Summary: This camera takes great scenery shots, but when indoors I always use the flash regardless, to get the lighting right AND to keep from having blurry pics. When the light is low, pics tend to blur. Slow shutter makes sports pics hard, but outdoor stills are great.

"Nice Starter Camera" on by kittie157
Pros: Easy to use, great for beginners, fun to use, love the ability to take video
Cons: would like more options but it is great for what I need it for
Summary: I think this is a great camera. I do not plan on using it for anything spectacular. I just enjoy taking pictures of my pets. This camera is perfect for that. My dad gave me this one since he had another new one. I did not have the cd-rom for is, but it was easy to get the drivers from the Fuji website. My favorite option of this camera is the video. You just have to take the video in a well lit area, which makes sense. Overall, this is an awesome, simple camera.

"Nice, basic, point and shoot camera" on by tech_fantatic
Pros: Easy to use, pretty nice pictures
Cons: Slow, quality is not fantastic.
Summary: I used this camera for several years. I love the XD picture card. Though more expensive, it is definately worth the money. I use rechargeable batteries in mine and they last a very long time. I was able to go a full day without turning the camera off but a few times and only use two fully charged sets.
The camera is a nice size, feels good in the hand. It is easy to use and don't really require instructions to operate it. Overall the picture quality is nice for this camera. It's not a professional quality camera, so you cannot expect that from the camera. The pictures that come out are very nice and perfect for the point and shoot photographer. If you are wanting a perfectly clear and crisp picture, you may consider looking into something a little more professional. I did find myself desiring a little more in the pictures, but I still though they were very nice. Some of my favorite pictures came out of this camera.
I only have two issues with this camera. First, it takes a long time to start this camera up. If you are trying to get a picture fast you really need to have some time in order get the camera on. Second, it takes a while for this camera to focus and take the picture. I learned after using this camera for some time the approximate time it took for the camera to take the picture. This was if I was at a parade or another event with moving objects I knew when to take the picture so it would turn out best.
If you learn this camera and use it awhile you will really be able to get some nice photos out of it. The few flaws are easily overcome with a little time. I find a nice, inexpensive, photo editing program can really help the overall quality of these pictures.
