"power hungry little hellion" on by kenwong709394
Pros: it can take pictures. surprisingly.
Cons: horrible battery life, mediocre pics, relatively fat compared w/ other compact cameras
Summary: when my dad got this camera, i was pretty excited. it was supposed to replace our 3 year old, bulky, archaeic digital camera.
naturally, the first thing i did was pop in the batteries and give it a trial run. after about 7 shots, it died. i thought it was just because the batteries weren't the greatest. after all, they've probably been sitting in that box for a while right?
i couldn't imagine how wrong i was. we tried replacing the batteries several times but got the same effect. we tried my freshly charged ni-mh batteries, but the results were worse: they lasted a full 2 pictures.
so if you're thinking of buying a relatively fat little camera with awkward controls and a 5 minute battery life, this is for you. otherwise, go for one of the canon powershot digital elph series. i wish i had. -
"its an affordable, but reliable camera" on by frofighter491
Pros: its really cheap, decent photos, and picbridge enabled
Cons: too much light and pictures suck, kinda bulky and fat, zoom power on the weakside
Summary: My dad got this camera mainly because it cost only $150 dollars at Sears and it came with a pic-brigde if you didn't know already enables you to print out pictures without turning on your computer which was a plus at the time. i agree wtih cnet that the controls are esy and light ruins the picture, plus the zoom is weak, but for a teenager, why would you need more than 3x zoom and the pics i've taken have come out very well on the computer and the screen to me is the perfect size. Only thing I wish for this camera was it to be alittle more slim-line, but at $150 for non-techie its the perfect camera for those moments you really need one.

"Absolutely ghastly" on by mikesey_97
Pros: The manual ISO settings
Cons: Blurred at edge photos.
Summary: I bought this camera and found that the photos which it produced were blurred at the edges. I took it back to my dealer for a replacement, wishing to give the camera a fair chance. The replacement was even worse, with out-of-focus photos and a genaral lack of resolution. Not a patch on my other two Fujifilm cameras, the A370 and the great A330 which proves that the number of megapixels shouldn't be the only perameter by which to judge a camera. I am going for a full refund now, and will beware of any new Fujifilm models.

"great camera" on by IUPsweetie21
Pros: high quality images, great macro shots, small in size
Cons: does not have video function
Summary: I love this camera. I bought it after much research. It is a great deal and for the average person, it is perfect. I think the rating on this camera is too low. It you are a professional, of course you do not want this. For the average person, it is great. I am 25 and take a lot of scenic images and use it for family and friends. The colors of the images are great, unlike some other cameras that take blue or yellow pics. It is a great deal!!
