"Easy, way easy" on by jceciliaw
Pros: Small, great pictures
Cons: ummm..... I'll get back to you?
Summary: We've already got the 'nice' big (expensive) camera. I was looking for something small that would easily fit in my diaper bag, with great quality and inexpensive, to capture all of those moments with the new baby.
It's filling the bill for being small. When I got it, I right away starting taking the 'random' pictures to test it out. The large review screen is awesome, but I was complete floored when I downloaded the pics. One of the 'randoms' was taken inside my car and it was picking up the dust on the console (and my car is clean)! Next, I took it to the stable and it didn't take me long to get the timing down to get great jumping pictures.
I haven't even opened the manual yet. It's easy to use.
For less than $140 and 7.3 megapixels, it's completely fitting the bill for what I need. -
"For the price, an excellent entry-level camera, with extras" on by chrisjm
Pros: Extra large viewing screen, easy operational controls
Cons: Battery life is very short, night mode is not very effective, Flash strength often overexposes subjects.
Summary: For the price, the photo quality is excellent but night mode is not effective.

"I think it's a good camera for the buck" on by Druce
Pros: Large LCD. Comes with a case and a 512 meg xd card
Cons: Can't think of any yet
Summary: First I read the manual and found it quit easy to understand. Then went through all the on screen menus in the camera and set up all the different modes the way the manual said to do.
The pictures were very very good in all modes inside and outdoors, even with the optical zoom.
It doesn't have a stabilization mode but the picture button has a hair trigger to make up for it. I don't think it deserves to many negitive reviews.
So far I'm very happy with it although it is still new.Updated
I've just got back from my vacation in the tropics and took over 200 pics with it. I shot just about very thing I could see. All the colours were excellent in the shade, sun, when it was cloudy, at sunset and sun rise. I'm sure there are cameras out there that are just as good and some are more fancy and more money but for someone like me who just wants a point and shoot camera then this works just fine. You want one with bells and whistles, then buy one, quit trying to get something for nothingUpdated

"fine for its price" on by neekscool
Pros: price is very good
Cons: too simple should save more features
Summary: I had experience with Kodak C340 before buying this piece and though it was only 5Mp camera with a much smaller ISO range than this one its
pictures were much more crisp than Fujis.
All the pictures taken with ISO 100 under sun are very good.(Excellent in fact).
But indoors under auto mode the pictures were really poor(Camera selected ISO 400 indoor).A
lot of graininess.
Pictures can be made better by switching to ISO 100 if subject can be enlightened properly with flash (I recommend ISO 100).
But considering its price and outdoor results am happy.
