Pros: great 28mm lens
Cons: poor metering result in poor pictures
Summary: meter system is so bad pictures come out either under exposed, over exposed, way off white balance. tested camera taking pictures in same lighting and pictures comes out varies, some ok, but mostly bad. 28mm wide angle lens is great for a compact camera, love to love the camera, but the pictures are not acceptable. My old Canon SD100 gets better picture.

Pros: Inexpensive, small, takes great photos, rechargeable battery pack
Cons: Some features a bit difficult to find, but nothing a little RTFM can't fix
Summary: To the first reviewer who said this camera takes horrible photos: perhaps you should learn how to take photos. While this is not the best camera ever made (certainly can't compete with a Nikon D40, etc), for a point-n-shoot, the photo quality is amazing.
It really boils down to this: it doesn't matter if you have a $5,000 camera - if you suck at taking photos, your photos will suck. I am more than satisfied with the F480, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for great value and quality in a point-n-shoot digital camera. Disregard our frustrated friend, go to Best Buy and try the F480 out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. -

Pros: Good quality pictures,good video mode,lots of settings,just a great camera.
Cons: takes a while to get used,slow shutter speed,sometimes blur.
Summary: At the end of the day it is a very good camera that most will like, especially for the price. Though it is obviously isn't as good as a $350 plus camera it is still very good. :)

Summary: I bought this 4 months ago,and if it were still working I would give it an 8 or so. But the camera simply just quit working with no call backs from Fuji Film.
