"Too fragile"

Cons: Bought this camera in a Alaska during a cruise. Broke within a few hours of carrying it around in my pocket.
Summary: I picked up a Fuji Finepix J20 while on a cruise in Alaska.
It was working fine at first, but after a few hours of
walking around with it in my front pocket, I took it
out to find that the LCD screen was ruined. By ruined I mean
the viewing screen was rendered completely white with
irregular-shaped black spots on it. Trying to take pictures
for 3 days without a viewscreen is not fun. Having a broken
camera in a place like Alaska is extremely frustrating.
I thought the front pocket where I kept it allowed for plenty
of space, but apparently I was completely wrong. No noticeable
impact was dealt to anywhere near the front pocket in which
I had it. Just moving around with it, including walking/running
upstairs was enough to bend the camera to the point of
obliterating the viewscreen.
The damage wasn't covered under warranty, so I had to pay a
little over $60 to get it fixed. On second thought perhaps I
should have just took the $120 loss on it, as I don't look forward
to having to carry this camera in my hand wherever I go. Using the
wristband that came with it to carry it around will make it far more
vunerable to banging into things.
Fuji's been around a long time, so I don't know what to think of
this, really. I'll definitely never buy any camera from Fuji that
has a viewscreen similar to the J20. This camera is pretty cheap,
cheap in more ways than one...
