"Designed to be like a film camera"
Pros: The low light capability is amazing. 6400 asa (@5mp)1600 @ full resolution If you understand film, you'll get this camera. Uses AA batteries and standard SD cards. Component output for direct from camera HD playback on your home theater
Cons: No accessory cables or remote. These must be purchased for around $100.00

Pros: Awesome macro,
Great outdoor pics
Lots of features (Preserve natural light, Dual shot with and without flash, vibration reduction mode)Cons: Horrible indoor/low light pictures
Regardless of which setting is chosen camera tries to force its own ISO choice

"A great camera with fantastic features"
Pros: Low price got my attention, especially with all of the features such as the 15x zoom, 10MP, nice bright screen, EVF, lots of features. Simple to use. Great battery life. SDHC support (8GB card holds more pics than we would take w/o downloading)
Cons: I don't really have any. the only con my wife has is that it shuts off too quickly. But that explains part of the battery life.

Many features only found on more expensive models
Takes good quality photographs
Great camera for those leaving point + click cameras behind
HD Video good extra feature, although does not match that of a HD video cameraCons: Very little wrong with it. I had the one time of an odd bit of delay taking the photo and with it focusing but that could be a problem on my part as it was getting rather dark, therefore meaning it needed to expose for a bit longer.
