"WOWZA! This camera is the best!!!!!" on by THEZOO605

    Pros: Sharp, sharp pics

Cons: On board flash can flood pics

Summary: I have had this camera for over a year now. All I can say is ... wow! I love it! I have done professional photos with this camera and it is the best!!! I have enlarged up to a 16x20 and not had any quality loss. I haven't tried anything larger. I do normally use a hot shoe flash with a bracket to keep the pics from bleeding out. But, that is normal for any camera like this. Nothing abnormal there. I can say that even in dark situations, this camera will even take the there too! Myabe require just a tad more editing with Photoshop but that is not a problem. The camera life on this camera is awesome too!! And, the xd cards are very, very nice and compact. But,I do like the option of using the compact flash too! You can use all sorts of filters with this camera just by purchasing the attachment for it. Very inexpensive! The only thing I can say that I really wish it had was a pc sync for the flash. That is the one and only complaint I have about this camera. I have shot over 8000 pics with this camera since I got it and I can say that I don't regret the first time getting it! :) A wonderful, wonderful buy for anyone that wants more than a point and shoot compact. I have large hands and this camera fits very comfortably in my hands without "getting lost".
Get the camera. Buy an extended warranty since all these things are super sensitive and can damage easily. Then go shoot pics of everything in site! I think you will be surprised and amazed!
BTW..I shot a friends' wedding with this camera. She also had someone else shooting medium format. My pics are much, much clearer than his were!

Careful. The reason this doesn't have a PC sync, other than the hot shoe on the top is that the camera is very voltage sensitive. I called Fujifilm to see if I could use a studio flash via a hot shoe/PC adapter I had and they said it requires a special voltage reducing adapter. Generally most hot shoe standard flashes battery operated flashes work well. You just need to buy a hot shoe to PC adapter. Call Fuji first if you want to use studio flash.
