"A versatile camera to use"
Pros: Superb picture quality
Cons: Shutter lag using RAW and Continous Mode, slow Playback
Summary: This is my second bridge camera. My first is the Dimage A1. The camera is well constructed with lots of functional buttons. AF is excellent. Have not experience the slow AF reported in some reviews. Manual Focus is awesome! Despite the graininess, the Picture in a Picture feature, helps to make the focus sharp. Shot to shot time in JPEG FINE is excellent. Expect to have shutter lag using RAW. Pictures quality is excellent with minimal noise even at ISO800. Have blown pictures up to A4 size without seeing much degradation and noise. Can shoot up to 4 continous shots. Again, like RAW, expect shutter lag to occur. This camera has multi-exposure capability just like a film SLR. And the movie mode gives near DVD quality pictures. The last thing to note is to expect a few seconds to see your picture or movies in Playback mode. Not much of a problem for me.
If you are not a serious sports enthusiast, this camera is for you. Provides excellent and minimal noise free pictures as compared with other bridge Cameras. Even reaching DLSR quality at an excellent price.
