on by abikeriderPros Pretty water resistant. I never took underwater pics but it has gotten wet several times and I've dropped it several times.
Cons There's a long 3-4 second delay from the time you press the shutter till it finally takes the picture. I take a lot of action shots so it has been a challenge to use. The picture quality is just OK. The low light performance is pretty bad.
Summary When I bought it a few years ago there weren't many waterproof cameras so it was acceptable then. There are better choices now.

Cons Not waterproof. It was destroyed in 4 feet of water!
Summary The camera touts to be waterproof up to 16.4 ft, really? Recently, we took the camera to Cancun for our annual vacation. We got to the hotel, picked up the camera and when straight down to the beach to take some pics. I used the camera for less than a minute and took two pictures standing in waist deep water when 3-4 ft wave hit me. The camera never left my hand and never knocked against any thing. When I tried to use it again, boom, gone!!! No power, no nothing! Luckily, we had a second camera that we used for the rest of the vacation. This doesn't do what it advertises to do at all. I will stay away!
