Pros Can take high quality pictures
Cons Slow, battery case pops out, takes AA bateries, falls apart quickly, needs duct tape, pauses a while before taking picture
Summary This CAN work--sometimes--but even then you have to wrestle with it.
This is official. I now will never buy from Gateway again. A few years ago I bought a Gateway computer, and it crashed within a week. Then I replaced it with an HP, which is still working to this day without having to service it once in all these years.
Overall, don't buy. Look for something else.
Pros only the price and the resolution.
Cons the size of the camera. the size of the LCD. The battery level indicator does not work. uses 4 aa batteries. uses compact flash. Very slow menus and shutter delay.
Summary this is a horrible camera. save your money for a nice 4 gig high speed SD card. The amount of pressure that the batteries put on the door made it break off. Operation time is very slow. weighs 5.7 pounds (yes i did weigh it) video time limit is 30 seconds max. videos are without sound. Plastic cracks very easily. Mine basicly just fell apart and stopped working.
Pros There are no pros to this camera.
Cons The camera is cheaply made, the battery lid breaks easily
Summary camera only worked once for me and gateway wouldn't let me take it back! This camera is very cheap and not worth the money at all. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF WASTING YOUR MONEY, LIKE I DID!
Pros Point and Shoot
Cons auto focus is lacking.
Summary This is your basic point and shoot camera. It doeslnot have all the features as a 500.00 camera would, but offers great choice in pixel size and a total 5 mega pixels. The auto-focus feature is lacking in quality due to the small infra red sensor. If you would like a cheap camera for general all around pictures this is the one for you.
Pros This camera is at least a third cheaper than it's nearest comp. It takes true 5 mpix pictures. With manual controls and a little patients, you can get great pictures.
Cons It is slow. Its auto focus and aperture aren’t the best; you need to use the manual settings to get the image you want. This can be time consuming. Also it could be a little easier to use in terms of controls and button layout.
