I loved this camera,but
Pros: great pictures,easy to use
Cons: would like shorter lag time
I have had it 1 year and 3 months and while taking picture it froze up and is now useless to me. I am disappointed that techs tell me it would cost as much to fix as buy new one as I paid a good sum for this one.
It takes and prints excellent pictures and right now do not know what I will do.

Pros: Easy to use, many features, extreamly sharp 8 X 10's on phote (amazing). I am old photo shop/darkroom tech

My second digital, I knew what I wanted.
Pros: Absolutely superb picture quality. The 56X zoom brings things right to you. The weight of the camera helps stabilize shots. HP photo support is at least equal to Kodak, and product quality is beyond anything I anticipated. Previous camera was a Kodak,
Cons: Short flash range, correctable by exposure. Short battery life when using flash. I recharge, and carry lithium spares just in case.

More features and better value than some cameras costing twice the price.
Pros: Easy to use and with features that allow for great pictures.Well thought out design allows for quick changes and adjustments.
Cons: You really need to use the led image display for action shots as the image freezes while focusing in the viewfinder.

LOVE the zoom
Pros: We bought the camera 2 days before our daughter's wedding & learned to use it very quickly. Features are easy to use. I'm taking "close-ups" of animals 150 feet away. The burst feature is working great for fast moving shots. We love the camera.
Cons: Consumer reports mag says the flash works for only short distances.
