"DON'T BUY THIS CAMERA !!!"
Pros: Large viewing screen
Cons: EASY TO DELETE PICS BY MISTAKE, BAD DEVELOPMENT, POOR TECH SUPPORT
Summary: We purchased the new Photosmart R837.
(1st issue) Very easy to accidentally delete entire SD card. Two buttons pushed in a row deletes card.
(2nd issue)When we went to download the pics onto the computer half of the pics were missing. We had seen all the pics on the camera before downloading. The camera had switched to demo mode which is "not mentioned" in the users guide. Upon calling tech support we were told by Gina (supervisor) that pics delete from demo mode after so many taken. (we had 30 on a brand new 1gb card) After talking to (her supervisor) Anthony said the demo mode would not cause this. We wanted to return the camera for credit but were told we could only get a refurbished camera to replace our brand new one. Unhelpful and hard to deal with HP Support.
We will not buy from HP again...GOOD LUCK If you purchase this camera!!!
