"Iffy value on this one"
2.5 starson by cobalt_arrowPros: Cheap price for audio/video recording cap; not a ton of things to learn to use
Cons: Video playback on the computer was horrid, Kodak customer service is in name only
Summary: I tried 2 seperate cameras of this model and had the same problem with both: the lighting reqs for doing vids is alot. If I didn't have huge amounts of lighting in the room the video playback on the comp using the supplied software was abysmally dark and nothing could be seen. Kodak's customer service is laughable if it wasn't for the fact I paid over $100 for this camera. The still pics it takes are good though. Also the supplied manual and the online manual (basically it's the same as the one from the box) are terribly insufficient. There's buttons on the camera they don't tell you how to really use at all. The supplied software suffered simialr deficiencies.

What is he going on about? This is primarily a still photo camera. And yes it does have SMALL video capability, but its just that for spur of the moment things. Its like saying "Gee my cell phone takes crummy pics". You dont buy a cell phone to take pics and you dont buy a camera like this for video.

I fail to see how this would be a camera choice for high-quality video. It is a budget 6.1MP digital still camera; the video would be used for spur of the moment, capture a giggle clip at best.
