"Customer Service is HORRENDOUS" on by tomcat101561
Pros: None that I can tell. Didn't get much of a chance to use camera
Cons: Customer Service is worst I ever experienced
Summary: If you have a problem with the LCD forget about getiing it repaired. Kodak claims any LCD problems are customer abuse and refues to warranty. But they let you ship it in for warranty repair and charge over 50.00 to get camera returned if you don't pay out of warranty costs. This is a second rate company with unethical customer service. Will never purchase another Kodak product.

"Just OK for the money" on by handyrlp
Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Digital image noise is terrible
Summary: I received this camera just today. The only place this camera produces a good image is outdoors and with lots of light. Indoor imaging is not good to say the least. The image noise at any ISO is almost awful. With the current state image sensor technology almost any reasonably priced camera should produce better images than this camer. My very old Kodak digital camera was better.

"Good First Digital Camera" on by scifinerdgrl
Pros: Large everything, clearly labeled, easy to use, printer dock charges batteries
Cons: Small internal memory, short battery life
Summary: I bought this camera + printer dock bundle for my 70+ year old mother for Christmas this year. She has glaucoma and her hands shake, and she's been taking terrible pictures with her point-and-shoot film camera for years. In her case, smaller isn't better, and she felt comfortable with this camera. (I let her pick out her camera + printer package at her local Sears)
Buttons are easy to find and clearly labeled. The LED is a good size, and when it's on the dock, it shows instructions. Mom's more adventurous than the average oldster, but she had some trepidation about taking digital pictures until she started using this. Cropping is very easy, and the printer paper is readily available in Mom's local drug store. Since she doesn't have a computer, this camera/printer dock package was a great solution for her. She can take the memory card to the local library to e-mail pix to her friends, yet also print what she likes.
I bought this for her on Thanksgiving, plus an SD card for more pictures. The internal memory filled up fast at family gatherings. What's not initially clear in the instructions is that the rechargeable battery recharges by putting the camera onto the printer dock. This is a great feature, as the whole point of giving mom this camera was to save her some money. -
"Kodak really failed on this one" on by Derk1623X
Pros: Cheap, Big LCD
Cons: Terrible, and i mean TERRIBLE picture quality, feels cheap, 6.1 megapixels thats a laugh
Summary: Do not buy this camera. It will be a big dissapointment. Not only does this camera feel very cheap, but the picture quality is terrible. Every photo I have taken no matter how much light has a very grainy look to it. I am so dissapointed because i used to have the CX6330 which was a 3.1megapixel camera made by Kodak and it worked great. Kodak needs to get their act in gear for their next generation of cameras. AVOID THIS ONE!

"Great deal for the price" on by MikeeeP
Pros: So easy to use even YOU can use it! Or your mom, or your dad, or your little brother or sister!
Cons: No cons, it is what it is at a great price with great options ie: docking station that is a printer so that you can make instant photos.
Summary: I'm a professional photographer with a stable full of high dollar digital and film equipment. This little camera is the one I carry when I go to little local events, family gatherings or anyplace I'd like a photo - why? Simple, carrying a high dollar camera everywhere is a drag - this one can be put in your pocket and it's perfect for shooting photos to put on web sites, or just about anywhere else. I'd never use it to shoot for 8X10" prints, but that's not what it's designed for. --- Mike
