"Good for still shots and bright areas, simple to operate" on by mickey107

Pros: Simple to use, light compared to other models, great for 1st digital camera operator or for simple picture taking.

Cons: Not good for moving objects, a slight movement on behalf of the picture taker and the picture is blurry. Also bad if object or background is moving.

Summary: Got this camera for X-mas 2004, the non-rechargeable AA battery life was terrible. I recall getting only 10-25 pictures out of those batteries. Wasn't initially thrilled about life span so decided not to use for a while, but then took it on a 9 night cruise with the CRV3 battery. Lasted over 200 pictures and still going! Over 15 mins of video footage too! (I had added 256MB) so now I'm hppy with battery life.

Many pictures have come out very blurry due to movement by either the picture taker or the object in the picture. Not like the 800 film you use on a regular camera, very dissatified with this quality.

Pictures that did come out, were beautiful, nice color, sharp.

Can't zoom when in video mode. No sound either.

Very easy to upload photos to computer.

Very easy to use: take picture, review pictures, delete pictures, upload pictures.

Has an auto off feature, incase you leave it on accidententally

Display screen can be deceiving, picture may look bad in there, but when you upload the picture it looks better.

Overall, nice start-up camera or camera for simple still pictures.

    "Serves the purpose!!!" on

Pros: Worth the $120 for a 3.2Mpx Digi-cam. good pictures even on low quality settings. Light weight, w/ full features (easy to navigate in menues)

Cons: Lense is NAKED; does it work as a web-cam? Software - don't like it and just got the basic driver for XP Pro support.Drains batteries quicker than usual.
