"Best Camera I've ever had." on by jnaking
Pros: This camera takes wonderful pictures, my favorite thing about it is the battery lasts a long time. The camera was a great buy at $140.00 including a camera case, rechargeable battery with wall charger, an SD Card case, and a camera stand.
Cons: The color, Red. This is the only color that came with the Bundle. Would have loved to see it in Silver.
Summary: This camera is an awesome buy. You get alot for your money. I spent over an hour in the store looking at different cameras before choosing this one, and spent alot of time online researching small digital cameras. I am very pleased with this, I have taken over 60 pictures and I think I've only deleted 5-6 of them, mainly because I didn't have it on the right setting for the type of picture I wanted. I would highly recommend this camera for everyone, it is very easy to navigate the different options and such. Great for new begginers or for professionals wanting something compact to carry around all the time. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Trust me, I did the research and for the money, you cannot beat it.

"The worst camera ever!" on by Tracyfnp
Pros: I have nothing positive to say
Cons: Stopped working on SEVERAL trips and after having it only one week. About to send it back to Kodak for the SECOND time. I'm not sure if I bought a lemon, but it continues to not always work.
Summary: It is NOT easyshare. I had nothing but problems with the easy share program and had to uninstall it from my computer because I could not download the pictures. I spent over 3 hours trying to trouble shoot my camera with tech support online and over the phone. And when I mailed in my camera, the repair department kept my camera battery so I was without my camera AGAIN for another week waiting for them to mail me my battery. The last straw was when my camera stopped working on my first time to Ireland trip. It seemed to stop working on my vacations-EVERYONE of them.

"Fantastic All Around" on by jdotreach
Pros: Picture is gorgeous.
Video isn't too bad for only VGA quality.
Durable (was dropped down the side of a mountain and still works!)
Easy to use; from taking pictures to importing them.
Long battery life.Cons: Video sound is a little choppy.
Zoom could be bigger.Summary: I've owned this camera for over a year, and shot thousands of photos, dozens of videos and taken it from freezing weather to 120 degree deserts. Overall, this camera is fantastic for a simple point and shoot. Kodak delivers when it comes to image quality and a solid product.
As much as I want to upgrade to a camera that takes HD video, I still don't want to leave the quality of this camera. -

"Wish I'd done my research. Refuses to turn on. Crud." on by elainecobb
Pros: The color and the price...oh wait you get WAY LESS than what your apprx $100 should buy you.
Cons: Refuses to turn on randomly, sometimes even when plugged in. AWFUL!!!
Summary: Sometimes, when I press the picture key when it is on, the camera simply goes black. Only my husband and I can get it to work; we can never have anyone else take our picture with it b/c it is so finnnicky. The timer feature causes it to shut off. Zooming causes it to shut off. Turning it vertical causes it to shut off.
Notice on the Kodak website that they do NOT accept phone calls for customer support on Easy Share cameras. I think this should have been a big clue to how often they deal with problems with this model.
Also the memory card that came with mine will not upload directly to my computer. I must use a special thumb drive. i do not have this problem with any other Memory cards. Spend an extra $50-$70 bucks and go with a low end olympus, canon, or Nikon. It's worth the hassel of lost photo opportunities on vacation, crappy customer support, and the regret of having not believed your friends on CNET!
