Pros: Very simple, customizable when needed, very good pictures when on Smart Capture.
Cons: Does not take good pictures in low light unless subjects are close.
Summary: I like the size of this camera. I can carry it in my pocket and take it out when needed. Very simple to use, menus are easy to understand and picture quality is great for most purposes. At night if you are in a well lit room or your subjects are close or you are taking pictures of well lit buildings picture quality is good, too. It is a very good buy, in my opinion.

Pros: Takes great pictures and amazing 720 HD video. Easyshare software is pretty useful. Big, 3-inch screen. Zooms while recording HD video. Orientation sensor for taking portrait photos. Panorama mode that automatically stitches 2 or 3 photos together.
Cons: Bad very close focus. Feels cheap. Joystick for navigating menus takes getting used to. Flash on/off/auto button in a weird place. No image stabilization on HD video. Videos save in .mov/Quicktime format, +for Macs but wont play on PS3 w/o converting
Summary: Amazing value camera with good photos and HD video. A lot of features that seem like they're from a more expensive camera. Easyshare is a very stripped down Photoshop, good for cropping, enhancing, and e-mailing. Great camera for someone who likes a simple, good camera.
