"OK Idea, Bad Execution."
Pros: Wi-Fi Capability, Huge LCD, Touch Screen
Cons: Bad Iage Qality, Oly 4 MP's, Touch Screen
Summary: Here is a good, (or just OK, depending on your views) idea that just wasn't executed very well. First and foremost this is a camera, and as that, it falls far short of cameras in both this size and especially price range. It's only 4 mega pixels as well, and for $500 I better get at least 5. The image quality, (by far the most important aspect of any camera) is decidedly subpar. Incredible amounts of noise arise in low light settings, and even with sufficient lighting, details fail to show up very well, if at all.
So, with that in mind, all the other features suffer. Why would you want to wirelessly send pictures that don't look that good. Also, I have found that the Wi-Fi is just gimmicky. It is something that you will never use. It's a good idea, it just adds to the price tag unnecessarily. The touch screen is another sore. The camera makes you rely on this thing far too much, and you will find yourself constantly wiping the screen when viewing pictures to see if an image is ugly or if it's dirt from your fingers. There is also an included stylus, but it is just too awkward to hold the camera in your left hand, pull out the stylus, rotate the screen, poke at it, put the stylus back, (or worse, hold it) take a picture, pull the stylus back out, and then start poking away again. After doing this a few times you will start to just use your fingers and the above problem will arise.
The camera is also quite thick, so don't think that this will fit in your pocket, unless you don't put a case on it, (a $500 camera, I don't think so). Even then it is still rather thick. This distinction almost takes away from its portability.
All in all, this is just a poorly executed gimmicky idea. You will find the Wi-Fi feature, while cool, is just not going to get used, especially when the pictures aren't that good.
