  • "One of the best ultra-compact cameras available"
    on by tlp

Pros Extremely small and light; lots and lots of picture taking settings/options; super easy to transfer pictures to a computer; good rechargable battery

Cons It's more expensive than similar ultra-compact cameras, slightly difficult to use the directional pad.

Summary This is the best consumer camera I've ever seen. It's extremely small (about the same size as the Canon SD series) and very light. It easily fits in a pocket without even knowing it's there. The camera has many, many different picture taking settings. There are settings for snowy landscapes, candlelight, backlight, sunsets, etc. At its highest setting, pictures are still rather sharp when zoomed in; they are taken at 2576x1932 pixel resolution. Transfering pictures to a computer is super easy with the small Kodak dock (USB; about 3in. diameter circle) that is included with the camera. Plug the camera into the dock and press the "share" button. When I do this, iPhoto on my Apple computer opens and downloads all of my pictures from my camera. The dock also recharges the battery. It's really great. The only thing that is slightly annoying with this camera is that the directional pad is really small (smaller than my thumb nail) and can become difficult to navigate with if you have large hands or fingernails. Overall, this is an awesome buy!

Pros Excellent Videos and Pictures, Battery Life is Good, Small and Compact, Easy to use

Cons Lens noise when zooming during videos, Video requires alot of space. <-- Nothing so bad I can't live with it...

Summary This has been my 4th digital camera in 4 years and it is the best so far! I Love this camera and I take it everywhere and it fits in my pocket. To me this camera is perfect. Kodak definitely took their time in developing this one.. There could be a couple changes but I understand that a company does its best to try and fix everything just right but you cant always do that. My battery life has been good compared to some reviews. It lasted an entire day on one charge with 350 pics and 10 videos with reviewing of them all multiple times.. I would recommend this camera to anybody. Buy it and enjoy!

Pros lots of features, easy to use, compatible with the printer dock, has it' s own batteries

Cons If you run out of battery you can't put regular in.

Summary I am 13 and I have this camera and it's great for teens wanting to take pictures with their friedns or on vacation, because it has lots of features like for exapmle a burry alart that tells you how big you can make the print. The camera picture- to picture time is fast about one seccond and the flash is really fast to carge and works great. The camera also has Kodak's great feature the sharea feature and it' great you can tag pictures e-mail or print the next time you put it on the base and it will print or e-mail for you. The camera is the perfect size it's small enough to fit in your pocket takes great pictures. I am really happy about how this camera preformes and I would recommend this camera to anyone

  • "Awesome camera. Love it!"

    Pros Not Available

    Cons Not Available

Summary I took the camera on vacation and loved it. The quality of the pictures is amazing, especially given the different enviornments we were in (senic, sunset, action, night, sunlight, beach...) The camera is also very easy to use, very compact, and good looking. The only real con is the battery life is so-so (about 300 shots on 2 full charges, with a lot of reviewing). Also, you need to use Kodak software to download pics, but the software is pretty good and uploads directly to Kodakgallery.com if you want.

Pros Very Fast Shutter Speed, Small, Large Screen On Back

    Cons No Cons At All

Summary This was one of my best purchases ever. This camera is small, fits in my pocket and has an extremely quick shutter speed. As soon as you push the button it takes the picture.

The video function on this camera is far and above any other camera I have ever seen of any size.

Just a small advantage as well is that when looking through pictures it quickly and effectively scans through them.
