"Taking it back"
1.5 starson by rotiart19Pros: Good pictures. Decent lag time. Easy to use
Cons: Does not work 50% of the time, Camera crashes when taking pictures
Summary: Pros
As a guy I didn't care too much about the look of the camera, so much that it felt good in my hands and took nice pictures and didn't have too much lag. Which it met all of my basic requirements when I bought it. The pictures come out very nice. Decent lag time (at least for me compared to other cameras I tried at the store) between push and shutter times. The lithium battery lasted me for a while. It didn't die in the 4 hours off and on I was messing with the camera. I like lithium so much more than buying billions of batteries. It was also very easy to use, and since i'm no technowiz... i loved
Cons:
In store I loved it. But when I took it home. Half the pictures that it took although i saw the preview onscreen, were not saved to the camera or the memory card. Twice now when I hold down the button to take pictures the camera shuts off and I've only owned the camera 3 days and taken less than 50 pictures.. The other half of the pictures that the camera ACTUALLY saved, sometiems show a message saying file format not recognized. Sometimes I can see my pictures... sometimes I can't... its odd. I have to shut off the camera and turn it back on 2 or 3 times to get it to view.
Now i'm at a conundrum. I love the camera I really do. I'd give it a 8 if it worked. But my girlfriend is saying "I told you so" and go buy a canon or sony. I bought it at best buy and bought their 70 dollar whatever plan. So i can exchange it. Again I didn't find the sony's or canons that easy to use, at least at first pickup, which is why I went with Kodak for a camera.. i mean pictures.. kodak... such an easy connect right? Oh well. More camera shopping I guess.
